Empowering the next generation of environmental leaders.
Eco Surf Australia believes young people have an important role to play in shaping a more sustainable future.
Our school and youth programs provide opportunities for students to move beyond environmental awareness and become active participants in positive change.
Through practical experiences, education and student-led initiatives, we encourage young people to understand the relationship between human activity, litter, waste and the health of our oceans and waterways.
Learning through action
Our programs can incorporate:
-
School beach and river clean-ups alongside KABCWA's Adopt-A-Spot program.
-
Environmental education and marine debris awareness.
-
Audited litter collection and data recording with Tangaroa Blue and the AMDI.
-
Student leadership and environmental committees.
-
Community service and volunteering opportunities.
-
Youth-led sustainability projects.
-
Circular economy and waste reduction initiatives.
-
International Baccalaureate service and project opportunities.
From awareness to student-led action
We support students to identify environmental challenges within their own communities and develop practical initiatives to address them.
Students are encouraged to take ownership of their ideas, work collaboratively and measure the outcomes of their initiatives.
Connecting education with real-world impact
Eco Surf Australia can work with schools, to develop tailored projects that align with curriculum objectives, service learning and sustainability priorities.
Our aim is to provide students with opportunities to develop leadership, critical thinking, collaboration and a genuine sense of environmental responsibility.
Empowering young people today to protect the environments of tomorrow.
