Eco Surf Australia is an environmental engagement organisation dedicated to protecting our oceans, waterways and natural environments through collaboration, education and practical action.
Established in 2022, Eco Surf Australia was founded on the belief that meaningful environmental change requires more than awareness. It requires people coming together, understanding the challenges facing our environment and taking action to address them.
We work across corporate, education, and community sectors to develop and coordinate environmental initiatives that create opportunities for participation, learning and measurable impact.
Our work ranges from large-scale audited beach and river clean-ups to corporate volunteering programs, youth education, sustainability partnerships and immersive eco-wellness experiences.

Sonja Belle
Founder and Director
Eco Surf Australia was established by Sonja Belle, whose professional background spans occupational therapy, organisational consulting, injury management and corporate engagement.
With more than two decades of experience working with businesses, organisations and communities, Sonja brings a strong understanding of partnership development, project coordination, stakeholder engagement and delivering structured programs.
Her passion for the ocean and involvement in surf life saving led to the establishment of Eco Surf Australia, bringing together her professional experience and commitment to creating opportunities for practical environmental action.
Her philosophy is simple: meaningful change happens when people are given the opportunity to connect, participate and make a difference.
